This website, and the work we quote.
These terms cover this website — vnyxit.com — and the IT services VNYX-IT provides to businesses on Cape Cod. VNYX-IT is operated by Nickolas Rodrigues, doing business as VNYX-IT, on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States. If a legal entity is formed for this business, these terms will be updated to name it; your rights won’t change.
By using this website or engaging us for work, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, ask — a straight answer is a phone call away.
HOW WORK GETS AGREED
Every job is quoted in writing first.
- We put the scope and the cost in writing before any work starts — no exceptions.
- Work begins when you accept the quote in writing. An email reply saying “go ahead” counts.
- If the job turns out bigger than quoted, we stop and re-quote before doing the extra work. You never discover a change of scope on an invoice.
- You’re invoiced for what the quote says, when the quote says. No surprise line items.

What this website is — and isn’t.
The content on this site describes how we generally work. It’s informational — it isn’t advice for your specific situation, and it isn’t a guarantee of a particular outcome for a particular business. Every business’s setup is different; that’s what the free assessment and the written quote are for.
If anything on this site and a written quote ever disagree, the quote wins. The quote is the document we’re both holding.
NO LONG CONTRACTS
You can leave.
Monthly arrangements have no long contracts — you can cancel anytime, and the arrangement ends at the close of the period you’ve paid for. One-off jobs end when the work is done and the invoice is settled. We keep clients by being useful, not by locking the door.
LIABILITY
Where we stand if something goes wrong.
We stand behind our work. If we got something wrong, tell us — making it right comes first, before anything in this section matters.
Legally, and to the extent Massachusetts law allows: our total liability for any service is limited to the amounts you paid us for that service, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can’t be limited — like gross negligence or willful misconduct.
GOVERNING LAW · CHANGES
Massachusetts law, Barnstable County courts.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute is resolved in the state or federal courts located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts — the same county we work in.
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If a change materially affects an active engagement, we’ll tell you directly — not just quietly edit a web page.
